Various lineups are available, including our legendary ‘pop-up-upright piano’ which looks and sounds just like the real thing, but is easily transported to otherwise piano-less venues to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We have a huge repertoire of songs including boogie-woogie, rhythm’n’blues, latin jazz as well as piano versions of alternative and rock classics. The full-quintet amped-up rockin’ boogie-woogie experience consists of Mr Delamere on piano plus drums, bass, banjo and violin. Expect a joyride from the Penryn bayou taking in songs by Jerry-Lee Lewis, The Smiths, Bruce Springsteen, Dr John, Happy Mondays, Motorhead, Kraftwerk, Tom Waits, Professor Longhair, The Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Jools Holland, , Johnny Cash, Fats Domino, White Stripes, Sergio Mendes, Duke Ellington, Chuck Berry, and Lonnie Donegan amongst others. Here the 1930’s guitar style of Django Reinhardt takes centre stage alongside some Al Bowlly style British crooning and storming jazz clarinet. The Swing Riot are already proving to be wildly popular at their monthly residency at the Moth and Moon in Falmouth and it is looking like 2025 will be a busy year for them with gigs coming in thick and fast….
